Spring Break 2024 Scuba in the Bahamas

Join Rutgers Scuba for a spring break dive trip with Blackbeard’s Cruises on a live-aboard diving adventure to the Out Islands of the Bahamas. The central Bahamas were once the hideout of pirates and privateers… now these islands offer spectacular diving in warm, crystal clear waters with deserted beaches as backdrop for a diving adventure of a lifetime!

Colorful coral reefs teeming with marine life, beautiful walls, drift, night and shark dives waiting to be explored. Cruise departs from Nassau and sails to explore the Exuma Cays of the central Bahamas diving the pristine waters of the Caribbean’s largest underwater park – Exumas Land and Sea Park. See Caribbean reef sharks, nurse sharks, even tiger sharks on the sandy banks! We’ll take an Eco-adventure land tour, conduct a REEF fish count & a lionfish hunt.

Live-aboard cruises offer the best variety of diving available – up to 20 dives, dive with sharks at Amberjack Reef, watch eagle rays gracefully glide by the walls, get tumbled around on the high speed drift dive, the Washing Machine or shoot photos of all the great macro and micro shots you’ll see in the gin clear water of the Bahamas.

Come aboard the 65’ sloop designed especially for diving.  Our sailing crew consists of 4 dedicated professionals, captain, engineer, dive instructor and cook to assist divers in any way they can!  Ever wanted to try your hand at sailing?  Our trip provides the opportunity for divers to take over some of the onboard chores, such as wheel watches, mooring the boat to dive sites, hoisting the sails, and help in the galley.
