I’m please to share with you that Ximing Guo, Distinguished Professor of Marine and Coastal Sciences, received the Honored Life Member Award today from the National Shellfisheries Association at the 113th Annual Meeting of the NSA. Oscar and I put forth his name with several international colleagues and the Association approved it unanimously.

While the National Shellfisheries Association may not be where many of you spend your professional affiliations it is a key professional association for those of us at the Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory and a leading association in our field.
