My passion for environmental science is rooted in a deep belief that people and the environment are inherently interconnected, and that science should strengthen this relationship. I am particularly drawn to the idea of reciprocal relationships with the natural world—where understanding ecosystems also carries a responsibility to protect and give back to them.
The Sentinel Mission will try to circumnavigate the global ocean following nautical rules by an underwater robot. The goal is to demonstrate new technology developed by Teledyne Marine Inc and promote curiosity of the ocean planet. The mission will use the newly developed Teledyne Marine’s Sentinel autonomous underwater vehicle. Our our goal is to build global unity, contribute scientific discoveries, and inspire a sustainable relationship with our world’s oceans.
