Congratulations to Elisabeth Sikes who has been recognized by the American Geophysical Union by being awarded the Cesare Emiliani Lecture. The Cesare Emiliani Lecture is presented annually and recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of paleoceanography. The Emiliani Lecture honors the life and work of the renowned paleoceanographer and the lecture presenter is chosen jointly by the Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology section and the Ocean Sciences section. The Emiliani Lecture is presented at the Ocean Sciences section luncheon during the AGU Fall Meeting.
