What does it mean to be sustainable? 🌎🌱

In 2024, DMCS discussed this question with New Jersey youth grades 9 – 12, using the example of potential offshore wind projects occurring at the time. We joined a host of other panelists as a way to dive into the latest sustainability efforts happening at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

DMCS has participated in this program for multiple years. At every summit, youth speak with Rutgers researchers, NJ community organizations, and other teens within the state to understand what actions can be taken to be more sustainable.
