Optode tested in lab after recovery. Optode has failed. The cable works (tested on another optode), also tested the optode on a new cable to confirm that the optode does not work. Will need to be sent back to YSI.

SFMC note from haldeman

2019-07-24 22:41:49 Aborted for science_super. Had a hunch it was likely optode; sure enough, no comms to optode. Disabled in proglets and sample.ma; should probably remove tbdlist and nbdlist for rest of mission too. Resequenced 200_nw.mi

Recovered aboard R/V Rutgers by Chip, Liza, Grace, Laura Wiltsee, and Alex/Charlie from Stonybrook.

segment: ru30-2019-223-0-4 (03330004) was the one right before recovery. Water sampling with the rosette after glider recovery.

Did another look at lithium ion discharge curves based on Panasonic NCR18650B:

14.5 V: 50%
14 V: 65%
13.5 V: 80%
13 V: 90%

Based on that at this point in time ru30 is about 32 day course.

Should compare casts from this glider with SBU to show that the pH sensor has a bit more up/down lag than a regular gpctd

200 cc climb from maximum, as long as it doesn't stall out, may help with sensor lags.

Some pitch motor OOD oddities. Right at climb, commanded aftward. Increased db_frac_dz from .5 to .75 which made deadband to about .15 from .1 inches. See if that eases pitch motor strain.

2 hour missions CC off. For some reason it chose to fly north, tide switches and northerly currents. Need to get it south.
