I am pleased to announce the winner of our two 2025 undergrad awards. It’s been a tough competition this year, we were truly impressed with all of the submissions. So thank you to all the students who put their hat in the ring!
The recipient of the Outstanding Senior Awards is Brendan Henley. Brendan will be graduating this spring with a double major in Physics and Physical Oceanography. He was also the instructor for the Marine Sciences First Year Interest Group Seminar last fall, among many other achievements.
The winner of the Diane Adams Undergraduate Research Excellence Award is Nikki Nikolova. Nikki came to us as a transfer student in Physical Oceanography and has excelled with her contributions to research, as well as academically.
Congratulations to both of them! We can’t see what all of you will achieve next.
