Kudos to Hailey Riechlson who was selected as a grad student fellow of Rutgers Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (RASTL).
Also kudos to Anya Hess who works with Ken Miller and myself who has been awarded a Schlanger Graduate Student Fellowship by the U.S. Science Support Program for her work on reconstructing oxygen deficient zones. This prestigious fellowship provides a full year support for Anya to extend her work from the eastern equatorial Pacific to the Arabian Sea. Previous awardees include Sindia Sosdian and Tali Babila in GPO and Huapei Wang in our program. This is especially rewarding as the award is named after Seymour Schlanger, a graduate of the geology department at Rutgers (BA and MS) and important contributor to ocean drilling.
Keep bringing good news, we need these now days.
