Let’s congratulate Kayla Cayemitte on earning the Presidential Graduate Fellowship for her pursuit of doctoral studies in the field of Oceanography at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. These highly selective fellowships recognize and provide support to a small number of particularly outstanding graduate student candidates at Rutgers. Kayla will be starting her Ph.D. studies within the Graduate Program in Oceanography commencing fall of 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Prada. She will work on the impacts of ocean warming and acidification on coral physiology and biomineralization. Well done Kayla, you’re off to a great start!
