DMCS is proud to represent Rutgers and support our NJ youth. We have been involved in all years of the 4-H STEM Ambassadors program, leading tours, participating in roundtable discussions, and guiding projects on topics like ocean observation and urban heat islands.
The Rutgers 4-H STEM Ambassadors Program has been continuously running for 17 years, connecting New Jersey Youth to their state university and its impacts. In this year-long program, participants learn about STEM at Rutgers and how they can promote the STEM engagement in their own communities.
Through this program, youth from communities across NJ have cultivated their interest in STEM. They have gone on to lead local STEM events and initiatives,
attend top universities (both in NJ and around the country), and begin careers in innovative fields.
