Brendan Henley is this year’s recipient of the G.H. Cook Leadership Excellence Award

I’m happy to announce that our graduating senior Brendan Henley is this year’s recipient of the G.H. Cook Leadership Excellence Award. Brendan is double majoring in Physical Oceanography and Physics with a GPA of 3.8, and he is also a member of the SEBS Honor’s college. He will have amassed 169 credits by the end of the ’25 spring semester with an impressive range of courses. For example, he took Organic Chemistry, although is was not required for either of his two majors. In his four years here Brendan has contributed to several different research projects, contributed to the making of a science documentary, and led a First-Year Interest Group Seminar. 

 The award will be announced and presented at the Convocation ceremony on Monday, May 19 at Passion Puddle.
