I aim to have an active and diverse research program, including undergraduate and graduate students, technicians, and postdoctoral researchers who share my passion for understanding how microorganisms drive global biogeochemistry and shape ecosystems. If you are interested in joining this endeavor, please get in touch with me.
Current open positions
Specific positions will be posted here.
Undergraduate Students
I aim to recruit 1-2 undergraduate students per year interested in contributing to the lab’s overarching goals by pursuing and developing their own research projects. I encourage students to complete a senior honors thesis, join the lab as Aresty Research Assistants (https://aresty.rutgers.edu/programs/research-assistant-program), or via summer internship programs.
Graduate Students
If you are interested in joining the lab as a graduate student through the Graduate Program in Oceanography (https://marine.rutgers.edu/main/academics/graduate) or if you are interested in exploring other fellowship and joint funding opportunities, please do not hesitate to send an email!
Postdoctoral Researchers
Please email me if you are considering applying for a Rutgers EOAS postdoctoral fellowship or if you would like to explore other fellowships and joint funding opportunities.
