Lithium Ion Set: Challenger

Recovered by Travis Miles and Chip Haldeman on R/V Rutgers.
Comparison CTD casts with Seabird 19 s/n1645 and RBR Concerto.

Did some L3 testing station keeping end of mission

Created by: dkaragon @ 2020-08-16 20:46:25Action Needed

CTD's only on every 5th yo, nth yo = + 5

Changed TBDlist as well.

Tried setting u_Science_low_power to 10 but it aborted. Bet it aborted on the 6th yo. Need to check that. Lots of science logging problems!

This was after a ctrl F ---> abort

Roll changed during storm, 2-3 degrees towards port. Investigate if something came loose?

CTD's off at the surface. Lots of surface science out of service aborts, sometimes --> beh_error.

Not sure what is causing it, thought ctrl F but may not be that simple.

Downloaded MLG from science super abort. Could be related to MA files. Ctrl-F causes a lag which lets science fail to open log files. Look to see if science super aborts are all from MA changes and maybe can delay the Ctrl F in script.

Every so often appears gpctd pump? stops for a cast or two. Similar to ru30 one mission.

2nd science surface abort, download 00790054.mlg when back on shelf

Created by: dkaragon @ 2020-07-22 13:14:24Informational

Pump had been -200,+225; last night changed to -235,235. It was mostly struggling to steer on the dives and it slowed dramatically near the top inflection.

7/20:
Transferred a dummy goto during a mission. Timestamp updated normally. Typed it to screen during mission, file looked changed. Exited mission, typed it again outside mission and it looked changed. Not sure what happened after the abort and it reverting to old MA's.

Also changed u_reqd_depth_at_surface from 4 to 2.75

Created by: waite @ 2020-07-18 21:59:25Action Needed

somehow surfac40, surfac42, sample01, sample59, and goto ma files reverted to previous versions. The timestamp on these files on the glider was 2 minutes before the abort this morning.

This resulted in 1-hour segments and the glider turning back inshore.

New ma files have been sent and mission restarted.

!!!Needs investigation as to why this happened!!!

Slimmed up 'duplicate' RBR TBD sensors. Changed to 4 sec every other yo, TBD was just too big at 70 KB/2 hours

Might be masterdata typo
#sensor: sci_water_pressure(bar) 0 # out, derived col 5, pressure_00 / 10
sensor: sci_rbrctd_conductivity_00(mS/cm) 0 # out, col 3
sensor: sci_rbrctd_temperature_00(degC) 0 # out, col 4
sensor: sci_rbrctd_pressure_00(dbar) 0 # out, col 5
sensor: sci_rbrctd_seapressure_00(dbar) 0 # out, col 6

sci_water_pressure appears to be col 6 seapressure
