Optode 972 sent to Aanderaa for re-cal / post cruise check
Recovered by Haskins, Dave K., Shannon S., and Eric Lemus.
Aboard Sea Tow Atlantic City
Bottom sampling, fixed to 10 meters to remedy.
Battery falling, Monday looks like potential day even though not terribly ideal weather.
Cut sampling back quite a bit, downcasts every 4th cast.
This is in case we can\'t go Monday.
optics off on upcast
will have to be more aggressive in next day or so with science, hoping we can complete the line
We are seeing bottom again, flying to 97 meters. I am not sure if that was a too shallow thing or overloaded. Next mission we should push TBD mission.
Glider has stopped seeing bottom for some reason. Will troubleshoot a bit tomorrow, but could be overload? Not sure what\'s going on. Restarting the mission may help.
Data pipe seemed to have went down and is now back up.
Slow progress is now explained by heavy bottom sampling. Glider is overloaded as well. Next NJDEP we will need to push 7.3 and TBD sampling.
Limiting depth.
Went to battpos flying, see yo10.ma.cur for current values if need adjusting.
Changed SBD to every 3rd yo, file size was too large
Set sampling rate to 0, sensors turned off when set to anything else
Glider a bit overloaded.
Lowering sampling rate on bbfl2 to 2 sec and optode to 1 sec
Deployed in Shark River off Fin-Ominal fishing charter by haskins, mike smith, Shannon, Dave, and others.
Flaky altimeter performance on this glider.
Replaced stock altimeter with ru27\'s.
Science Payload:
ctd-101
bbfl2slo-600
optode-972
Determined RU16\'s altimeter is still not working properly. On 4/30/10 entire glider was sent to Webb to see if they could fix the altimeter. Altimeter for this glider has never worked properly.
