Pilot Notes
Josh Kohut (re. leak): Hi All, Eli, Filipa, and I went through the glider to see if we could identify the leak. Here is a brief summary. We can fill in details after a little sleep. 1) We saw very little water along all the o-rings. There was more around the forward o-ring. 2) There was no noticeable water inside the aft bulkhead or around the payload bay. 3) We did see water on the inside of the nose with a salt water streak running from the leak detect forward to the base of the buoyancy pump. 4) There was water along the seam between the nose and the buoyancy drive. 5) We put it back together, pulled vacuum and looked at the diaphragm with the pump pulled in. There was some noticeable wear and tear, but we did not see any holes. We are happy to look more into this tomorrow after a little sleep. Right now the glider is on the bench with an 8.7 vacuum. We will monitor this tomorrow. Oh we also wiggled the glider and got no errors for the fin motor. The fin seemed to move through the angles just fine. Thanks, Josh
