Supported by Simons Foundation International, this mission will measure CTD, O2, chlorophyll fluorescence, backscatter, and PAR in support of the BIOSSCOPE cruise scheduled for July 15-19 aboard R/V Endeavor. The glider will profile to 550 m near the ship’s position to obtain temporal resolution suitable for resolving diel cycles.

Jonny deployed Jack this morning from R/V Stommel just offshore of the island. We anticipate a 2-month mission. The glider will be profiling in concert with the AE before, during and after the BIOS-SCOPE cruise in mid-July.
