Recovered by Antonio and Matt Driscoll on the Double Header
Average fin for this mission was around +7 deg. Problem happened and it was then around 0 and has been increasing about 18 deg / 7 day positive, right now average fin around 18 deg.
CTD on upcasts only for acoustics. Acousonde on downcasts.
Potential rudder issues showed up after 09:30 on 9/23/21
In summary, m_fin tracks c_fin just fine but there is still large m_hdg_error. Digifin oddities showed up gradually, not abruptly.
Surface drift roughly S/SE (thankfully).
Diagnostic steps taken:
1) 60 m test dive (deep.mi)
2) Moved fin to max ranges at surface, m_fin tracked c_fin
3) 100 m test dive with c_fin = 0 (steered roughly OK but still large m_hdg_error)
4) Ran normal mission to 150 m
5) 100 m test dive with c_fin hardover to -0.4
6) 100 m test dive with c_fin hardover to 0.4

Station keeping goto_list in to-glider, will go in around 16:15 09-10-2021. Test for heading dependent errors on AD2CP. Box with roughly 250m sides, when_wpt 20m.
Flying roughly 3 hour legs down to 1000m at a little faster than ~1km/hr horizontally. So I figure a downcast takes 1.5 hours and we go 1.5 km, and then to do 2 full boxes on a downcast would be 8 “sides” so 1500m/8 sides = 187m per side. A little faster than that so bump it up to 250m.
