Lithium Ion: Orsted
Leak deemed to be from defective pump bellows.
Overdrive unknown, but theory of salt in pot terminals works with bridging gap --> lower m_ballast_pumped --> overdrive positive (out).
Leak analsysis inconclusive. Water not past science bay (forward leak). Could be pump with signs of salt crystals in places higher than floor of glider. Also salt crystals on front flange seal of pump down in well.
Returned to TWR for investigation.
Pump pot + salt = overdrive? Right on recovery.
Initial shallow and possibly 2nd shallow. Weird sci comms error, no data after that point.
Should simulate to see if repeating. Turning off sensors at surface and running shallow2.mi worked.
Turning all sensors on all the time during 100_nw also was working so not sure quite what was going on there.
Recovered by Chip and Nicole aboard RV Rutgers. Rough seas, no cast.
Leak in forward around 1 est 9/1
Brief drop to 1.9 on a climb, cleared by the time it got to surface.
