CTD 0156
CTD 194 confirmed to be cracked in lab upon return, returned for repairs from SB/TWR.
Recovered by Oscar Schofield aboard the RV Palmer
Leak was about 20 mL and corroded the fore leak detect. Leak was likely in sci/fore seal or sci bay. Unsure at this time.
leak threshold = .5 aborted this morning ~ 10 am EST with a leak triggered
Decided to drift as we were near the 600 line.
GPS is being taken out of service, will have to watch this.
Glider surfaced with a leak in the fore section, ~ 1.25 V.
The rear leakdetect triggered as well since then.
Science computer caused an abort and some very strange data (mostly in pressure offset). Science is now shut down, and we fly to 150 m ending today.
We are now flying to 100 m forward.
Started new mission, slightly more aggressive optics, 15 sec post state change, 4 sec sampling, but off past 350 m
(goal is to keep science off near inflections)
ru26d-2015-025-0-0 (0372.0000)
Halted mission with puck on. Optics: 30 sec post state change, 0 to 1000m, 4 sec sampling rate:
ru26d-2015-022-0-107 (0371.0107) was last segment of mission
1 bad segment: ru26d-2015-022-0-29 (0371.0029)
278 sci_super oddities for this mission, or about 100/day
(1 bad segment / 3 days)
Mission 2015_019_0 370 was single yo missions, ctd 2 sec, no puck - we only had 1 bad segment in about 5 days:
ru26d-2015-019-0-10 (0370.0010) was the segment
Turned the puck on and restarted the mission:
ru26d-2015-022-0 0371
Puck is currently running:
# Sampling Arguments
b_arg: intersample_time(sec) 4 # if < 0 then off, if = 0 then fast as posible, >0 that number
b_arg: state_to_sample(enum) 7
b_arg: min_depth(m) 0
b_arg: max_depth(m) 1000
b_arg: sample_time_after_state_change(s) 30
(about 1 bad segment / 4 days)
Changed to single yo's yesterday, noon est in order to begin troubleshooting puck.
u_min_water_depth 375
u_min_water_depth 400
Might be too aggressive, 300 may be better.
Battery Life:
20% temperature, 6% shelf life (6/2013), 5% end of life, 2.5% (on self-discharge) (.04% per day (based on ud_275 and ru29 missions))
518 AH
Chip disabled puck in proglets. Seeing if that helps with science errors vs just disabling in a mission.
Science causing errors, both proglets.
Turned off science for 24 hours, no pump/pitch oddities.
Turned CTD only on for 2 days, 1 instance of error noticed, maybe two.
Trying puck on < 250 m and lowered sampling rates for both sensors. Trying to avoid science error.
Still getting pump pitch O/W
undervolts abort was caused by buoyancy engine not getting full buoyancy, oil flux negative, etc etc.
Slight suspicion that science is causing these oddities (de_engine has many for this mission) so turned science off and swam shallow. Will see if any oddities build up and then will swim deep overnight.
Strange science error, has happened twice now.
Will try to 'redo' the TBD and NBD files and hope that makes it go away.

Some false hits, min water depth = 100 m, but may need 250 see if it continues.
Also water depth lifetime = 0, 2nd yo was subject to first's water_depth
(2014/12/25 need to confirm)
