Recovered ~ 8 nm offshore by Tina Haskins, Kaycee Coleman, Filipa C., aboard RV Arabella.
Go Pro footage of recovery might exist.
Speeding glider back up a bit to get closer.
Turned off file transfers for the night to try to reach A2 (recovery position)
Wpt changed to bring glider into Tuckerton; 2nd wpt ~1 km north. Recovery tomorrow a.m.
Science is off, pump throws decreased to save power.
CTD on all but surface, glider battery responded well to CTD every other & not surface, so will turn it back on more.
Optics every 6th downcast, CTD on every other
Changed waypoint to more south due to currents. Will likely turn the glider around tomorrow morning.
In an effort to save some more power, changing optics to -4, every 4th downcast.
+- 1000 cc
Changed tbdlist to 4 sec sampling all sensors
Changed SBD to delimit sci_water_pressure much more as I think that was the cause of the SBD\'s being so large.
Hopefully this reduces surface time.
u_pitch_max_delta_battpos .06
+- 180cc, backed off to 5 m below surface, we we\'re breaching firing up surface devices.
PUCK: 1 sec sampling downcasts, -2 yos (every other, excluding first)
CTD: all the time
Deployed by Tina Haskins, Kaycee Coleman, Shannon Harrison, Dave Kaminksy & students aboard RV Arabella out of Viking Marine.
