Recovered and pitch battery found disconnected.
Payload Bay 139 with FIRe sensor.
Copied logs from TWR, moved glider to our Dockserver
Glider is calling TWR.
Sounds like no recovery today; added wpt south
64° 50.459\'S
64° 00.437\'W
to keep glider in safer water until recovery.
Turned fire off, voltage rebounding from 12 V. Heading it North, we can decide throughout the day how the battery situation is doing, and decide perhaps if we sample one more night or half the night.
Also strange science error while turning the sampling off. Maybe we want to turn fire off at surface?
Turned Fire on (to make sure data is there)
put u_min_water_depth to 50m
Reached waypoints. Changed to 100_tn mission, no waypoint surfacing.
Changed to 1.5 hour missions overnight.
First 1 hour dive was successful. Increased yo to 97m and put on 3hr missions to cover ground.
Current plan for RU24 and the FIRe will be to run the FIRe sensor at night from 9pm - 6am Palmer time. This will help us avoid quenching and provide a clean signal.
As per Oscar we will want to assess yields in different regions around the canyon by station keeping for 2-3 days and then relocating the glider.
Deployed by Travis Miles out of Palmer Station at Station E Shore support handled by Haskins
