bb3slo b 532 backscatter seems to have went kaput last mission, and still is on ud_134
sci_bb3slo_b532 channel appears to be dead beginning at segment:
ud_134_2010_152_003_136_sbd
Wpts changed as per Gary\'s suggestions. Sampling scheme seems sufficient for 8 days of flight; recovery currently planned for next Monday.
New wpts added to bring back to deployment location. Will check battery curves to see about changing sampling scheme to save battery.
Retasked back offshore for oil. < 2 weeks of battery left. May have to change sampling scheme to save power.
Switched to battpos flying for pitch. Well see how it does, ru23 has been doing well and this glider is going in a tough area.
New waypoint -8348.000, 2524.000
\"First waypoint = Keys1 (-8348.000, 2524.000) ventures a bit further west, but hopefully not far enough to get caught in the loop eddy. After going to Keys1 she should turn around and head due east to Keys0 (-8206.000, 2524.000). The turn should happen sometime late Saturday or early Sunday (depending on currents of course). On monday we can assess the currents she encountered and decide if we want to turn around and push offshore some more. We should stay north of the original patrol area since the Coast Guard has dispatched a couple of ships to that area to sweep for oil slicks and tar balls.\"
changed waypoint to 25 24.00N -83 18.00W for 11am surfacing. attempting to fight the current and not get sucked south like waldo.
