Short Bio:
I grew up in Northeast PA where I gained a passion for learning about the natural world. In 2025, I completed my bachelors in Biology and Environmental Science from Bucknell University where I spent two years conducting freshwater ecology research. During my undergrad, I had the opportunity to explore marine ecology through the RIOS program where I spent a summer studying living shorelines. Upon completion of my undergrad, I took a year-long post-baccalaureate research position through NSF’s Research and Mentoring Program where I studied movement patterns in salamanders at Monmouth University. After exploring various avenues of research, I was drawn back to coastal ecosystems. I am pursuing my MS in Oceanography where broadly I will be assessing living shorelines as an ecological restoration tactic. In addition to research, I am particularly passionate about education and outreach initiatives to help communicate our science in engaging and accessible ways!
