Short Bio:

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area gave me access to natural spaces, such as shorelines and riparian areas. In the interest of maintaining the health of these spaces, I studied Environmental Engineering at UC Davis. With the Tahoe Environmental Research Center, I extended my education in fluid mechanics to explore the characterization of aquatic environments using AUVs as well as the use of in-situ optical sensors, namely a methane bubble size sensor. At Rutgers, I will be advised by Dr. Oscar Schofield to research the interaction between water resources and the nearshore environment using PACE satellite and glider data.

Area of study: Physical Oceanography

Hobbies: Camping, Concert-going, Reading
