Short Bio:
I am originally from Souderton, PA, and I received my bachelor’s degree with a Distinction in Marine Science from the University of Delaware. At UD, I completed a Senior Thesis under Dr. Nick Ray titled “The Effect of Organic Matter Lability on Nitrous Oxide Production in Coastal Sediments”. At Rutgers, I will be working under Dr. Ben Borer looking at marine snow composition. I am interested in microbial interactions, as well as ecology and evolution of microbes.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy being outside and playing water polo, as well as going to the beach!
