Short Bio:

My current research results, in review at the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling, challenge long-standing models in the field of early Earth biogeochemical evolution using a quantitative cheminformatics approach. My training in scientific teaching and expertise in experimental physical chemistry (e.g., peptide design and synthesis) and computational chemistry (e.g., molecular simulations, machine learning, and graph-theoretic chemical comparisons of minerals and proteins), honed as a PhD student and postdoctoral fellow, coordinating collaborative interactions between all three ENIGMA teams and outside collaborators.  My 10 years of mentoring has helped to fulfill the essential duty of training and mentoring undergraduate scientific research projects.
