Short history

I grew up in coastal New Jersey, a short ride from the beach. I have always been heavily interested in science and earned my Associates in Science at Ocean County Community College. My love of the outdoors and the beach encouraged me to pursue a degree in Marine Biology and graduate with my bachelors from Rutgers University. While attending Rutgers as an undergraduate, I was introduced to new marine technology like AUVs, CTDs, gliders and more. I was eager to learn more about oceanographic instruments and enrolled in the Masters of Operational Oceanography program.

Research interests

My research interests include ocean-atmosphere relationships and physical processes. I also have a broad range of interests related to biophysical and biochemical mechanisms in the ocean.
