Short History

I grew up in central NJ and graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Geological Sciences. After a short stint in Texas for graduate school, I spent the better part of two decades in Atlanta GA – first as a research scientist with McCrone Associates – Atlanta, a materials analysis consulting firm and later as a geologist and Vice President of Education at Fernbank Museum of Natural History where I found my true calling as an informal science educator and program administrator. Upon my return to New Jersey, I was thrilled to join the Education and Outreach team and support these efforts at my alma mater.
