Short History
Alesha Vega is a Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator in the Department of 4-H Youth Development at Rutgers University. In addition to her role as a broader impact coordinator for the Rutgers research project, ENIGMA, she has been involved with civic engagement, public policy, community organizing, education and advocacy for more than fifteen years. She works with schools and youth in the New Brunswick community, connecting them with Rutgers’ 4-H STEM programs. She has an undergraduate degree in Biology and a Master’s in Public Policy. She is an AmeriCorps alumni and an avid environmental and social justice activist.
