RIOS Summer Internship 2016

The summer interns participating in the Research Internships in Ocean Sciences program presented their results in a poster session on August 12.  Mattea Berglund, a student at Brown University, was the winner of the best poster award for her project “Priority Effects in Fish Traps Seeded with American Lobster or Tautog.”  Mattea will present her poster at the Aquatic Sciences Meeting in Honolulu in February 2017.  Rachel Marshall, a student at the University of Rhode Island, was runner up for her project “Sex Ratio of Summer Flounder Discards in the Recreational Fishery.”  Congratulations to all the RIOS interns.
