[8:35 AM]dkaragon Steering issues! nomimal fin has been about -5 deg, then it had a bad segment where something happened at surface it appears, spun with heavy PORT (negative fin), last segment it steered but used heavy STARBOARD (positive fin) [8:35 AM]Deciding how we proceed, could be sargassum doesn't appear fin is GONE GONE [8:55 AM]dkaragon Joe and I trying to decide what to do, got half the file to learn a little but even then we'll be guessing. good news is fin appears still there. going to head it due east to get back on track and we can decide if we want to loiter, continue, or head to south side of island for weekend make sure all is OK. if sargassum would it be worse near islands or open water and I think we're thinking that's probably a wash as long as we're not near any shallow bathy funnels
