Pre-weekend conclusion: not looking great for altimeter. It may have missed the bottom twice. Also looked back through old deployments of this front end (ru38) for UGOS and SWOT, both not great altimeter testing missions but I don't see too many convincing hits on those missions either. So maybe we can go in with some spares for the turn-around. Perhaps even on recover if it can be plopped in either 20 m of water or 30m+ and do some tests. Probably worth an email to teledyne why ru44 doesn't have 232 on it (our newest), and if we decide to go with replacement parts which do we bring. Well have to revisit this in 2 weeks or so
