ESPreSSO (Experimental System for Predicting Shelf and Slope Optics)

The table below provides quick look access to plots from preliminary test runs of the ROMS ESPreSSO model. The model uses open boundary data from the MABGOM project and surface forcing from NCEP's North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR).

Data assimilation method parallel those prototpyed during ONR's Shallow Water Acoustics experiment in 2006 (SW06).

The ESPreSSO model will be transitioned to operational status as part of MARCOOS.
