Text Box: Research interests
Marine benthic community ecology. Characterization of spatial and temporal variation of benthic habitats and associated infaunal organisms at meso and micro-scales in subtidal environments.

Linking pattern and process in ecology. Use experimental approaches to determine what factors/processes create and maintaining infaunal  heterogeneity over a wide range of spatial scales and habitats. Specifically, examine the role both pre- and post settlement dispersal and habitat selection play.

Population dynamics and reproductive biology. Investigate and incorporate much needed species’ life history information into community level studies.

Taxonomy and systematics. Morphology, biogeography and phylogeny of polychaeta (Annelida) using LM, TEM/SEM and molecular analysis. Revision of the Family Polygordiidae (Polychaeta).
