RESEARCH INTERESTS

Potential impacts of transport variability on the spatial distribution and persistence of sea-scallop (Placopecten magellanicus) populations. Development of spatial dispersal-kernels using coupled 3D circulation and individual-based larval behavior models. Application of network theory to the population management paradigm. Formation mechanisms and consequences of thin-layers in coastal ecosystems. Population-level responses to resource limitation in deep-sea habitats.
