| You can use the Show Coverage
dialog box of TeraCapCon to display pass coverage for polar-orbiting satellites.
The Show Coverage Dialog Box
To
display pass coverage for a polar-orbiting satellite:
- Start TeraCapCon if you are not already running it.
- Generate an In-View pass list by turning on the In-View
Pass Filter at the top of the TeraCapCon Main Window. Click
here to find out how to specify criteria that determine which passes will be included
in the In-View pass list.
- Select the pass you want to view.
- Click on the Show Coverage button at the bottom of the TeraCapCon Main
Window. The Show Coverage dialog box will open on your screen.
Coverage for the pass you selected will be displayed.
Displaying pass coverage for two or three passes
simultaneously
Up to three different passes can be displayed simultaneously on the Show
Coverage dialog box. To do so, however, requires use of the drag-and-drop method for selecting the second and third passes.
Displaying pass coverage at a remote site
You can display coverage of passes at sites other than your own. To do so, you
must include passes from the remote site in your In-View pass list by selecting the site
from the list of Alternate Receiving Sites on the In-View
Search Criteria dialog box. You must also select the remote
site from the Receiver Site menu of the Show Coverage
dialog box:
If the site you want is not available, you can define a new receiver
site with the Site List Editor.
Closing the Show Coverage Dialog Box
To close the Show Coverage dialog box, click on the Exit
button at the bottom of the dialog box.
