DESCRIPTION

This panel is used to set or change the receiver location to be used in calculating and listing InView passes. It provides the ability to cycle through a list composed of the current location plus all entries in $PASSDIR/sitelist. Since the current location is also typically the first entry in the sitelist there is usually a redundancy here, but this is not true for shipboard systems where current location is constantly changing.

PANEL ITEMS

Receiver

This cycle item has values of Current followed by a value for each entry in the $PASSDIR/sitelist. It initially defaults to Current.

Latitude, Longitude

These items are not input fields but rather display-only fields that reflect the values for the location chosen in the Receiver cycle.

Accept

This button item causes the chosen Receiver location to be saved in memory and used (until changed) for all calculation of InView passes. It also has the effect of quitting the panel.

Help

This button brings up this description of functionality.

Quit

This button causes the panel to be exited. Other xcapcon functions are blocked until this panel is quit (either by means of this button or the Accept button).
