DESCRIPTION

The Edit Schedule Panel is used to set the the start time, end time and priority for the last selected scheduled pass. It also can be used to select telemetry and the antenna used for reception. It only works for the last selected pass (if this pass is a scheduled pass) and has no effects for other selected passes. It serves as a means to edit the capturing parameters for a pass that has been already scheduled by some other means. When the desired changes have been made, the Accept button is pressed to apply these values to the last selected scheduled pass. (However, the values displayed must correspond roughly to some actual visible satellite pass.) Pressing the Quit button has the effect of making no changes to the schedule.

The panel items described below are initialized according to parameters of the selected scheduled pass.

PANEL ITEMS

Telemetry
This choice item determines the telemetry for the selected scheduled pass. Only telemetries for active satellites are possible choices. Active satellites are defined in $PASSDIR/satlist file.
Antenna
This cycle item determines which antenna to receive the selected scheduled pass. Antennas are defined in the file $PASSDIR/antenna/acctelems. This file determines how many antennas there are, and what telemetries they can receive.

This fillin item determines the start of pass reception. It uses the hh:mm:ss format.

This fillin item determines the end of pass reception. It uses the hh:mm:ss format. End Time must not be less than Start Time plus 120 seconds.

This is the priority to assign to each satellite pass scheduled from a given autosched record. 1 is the highest priority, 5 is the lowest priority. Priorities are used to determine which pass to actually receive in case of time conflict. If two passes have a conflict, the pass with the highest priority will be received. If two passes conflict and have the the same priority, the pass with the highest satellite elevation relative to the target will be received.

This button item has the effect of applying the current values of the panel to the last selected scheduled pass. It also exits the panel.

This button item brings up this description.

This button item exits the panel without making any changes. Other xcapcon functions are blocked until this panel is quit (either by means of this button or the Accept button).
