If you know the name of a function, you can find it by scrolling through the list or using the alphabet index above:
You can also search this page for a particular function name or for a keyword in the function description. Click on Edit>Find on the browser's menu bar or use alt+F and enter a keyword string, for example master. You do not have to enter a complete word or phrase. The browser will find all instances of the search string you enter. Each listing then links to a page that tells all about the function.
The list of contents provided on the left groups related functions into categories. You might find it useful for searching out functions for a specific purpose when you don't know a function by name. For example, if you are searching for a math function, you could click on the Math and Stats heading to call up the Math and Statistical Functions page. From there, you could click on the type of math you want: Simple Math, Spatial Math, Simple Statistics, or Multivariate Statistics, to get to the page you want.
