Application
Eligible for the program are students, who
- are citizens or permanent residents of the United States,
- are enrolled in a degree program (part-time or full-time) leading to a baccalaureate or associates degree in Sciences (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics),
- are in their sophomore, junior or senior year,
- have declared a science major and have relevant coursework,
- are able to work at least 40 hours per week for the entire 10 week term; candidates who cannot attend the entire period should not apply (slight flexibility only possible after consulting John Dighton or Georgia Arbuckle-Keil ).

To apply for the program, submit the following documents:
- filled application form (available as pdf document or as MS Word .doc ),
- list of experiences (on a separate sheet list any laboratory skills, research experience, awards, honors or extracurricular activities that are relevant for the program),
- personal statement (on a separate sheet, please explain, why you are interested in science and research and what field you are particularly interested in, what you would like to do after graduation, and why an internship would be a good experience for you),
- a brief resume,
- transcripts (unofficial transcripts are sufficient),
- two letters of recommendation (the letters should be included in a closed envelope or should be send directly from your mentor or science teacher by e-mail or mail to the address given below).
