The Shore Bowl The Institute of Marine and Coastal Sciences (IMCS) at Rutgers University formally invites high school students from New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania to participate in the 8th annual SHORE BOWL. The Shore Bowl is a regional academic competition for high school students, that focuses on ocean-related topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, geology, navigation, geography, and related history and literature. As one of 25 regional competitions hosted around the nation as part of the annual National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) the Shore Bowl winning team will travel (all expenses paid) to Stony Brook, NY to compete in the NOSB during April 2007. Fabulous prizes will be awarded at both the regional and national levels. A maximum of 16 teams will be accepted to compete in the Shore Bowl on February 24, 2007 – we hope that your school will join the fun and be one of them!
