Pulse Bios: Crystal Dibetta

Crystal DiBetta has been a library media specialist at Robert Hunter School, a K-4 school in Flemington, New Jersey for 17 years. She is a certified Rutgers Family Science instructor. Crystal received a B.S. in early childhood education and a B.A. in geosciences from The College of New Jersey. She received an M.L.S. from the School of Information, Communication and Library Services at Rutgers University and an M.A.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She received the Governor’s Teacher’s Recognition Award in 2005. Crystal is involved in a variety of professional organizations including the American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians, the National Science Teachers’ Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Crystal lives in Milford, New Jersey with her husband Paul, daughter Sarafina, and son Nicolas. She enjoys reading, observing nature, and paper crafts.
