MaxROV MK-I Vehicle Description

Funds were granted during 1995 for the acquisition of a light-work class ROV. A MaxROV MK-I, from Deep Sea Systems International, is currently under construction. Customized to our specifications, the vehicle will support all existing sampling systems and allow us to expand the sampling capabilities even further (e.g., larger and more containers for a suction sampler, multiple imaging systems).
