Coastal Currents from CODARs The NEOOS network of CODARs is currently being deployed. This page will serve as the central access point for all of the coastal current systems within the Northeast Region. In the map below, the red systems are currently in operation or are funded to be in operation during 2001. The yellow systems are proposed to complete the entire NEOS CODAR network. 
Below is the proposed coverage for the New Jersey Bight. Recent clam boat sinkings have been included to point out the potential value of coastal current monitoring networks.  |
