The diagram above shows the set up of the XBT.SEC directory. The GDEM Climatology and XBT section files are located in the gdem_data and xbt_data subdirectories. Each file contains rows of Range, Depth, and Temperature data for a particular section.

The Model Evaluation software is located in the program subdirectory. ISOCOMP.M may be used to perform a comparative analysis of GDEM, XBT, and Model Isotherms over n sections (for 1 < n < 12). DEPTHCOMP.M may be used to perform a comparative analysis of GDEM, XBT, and Model temperature variation curves at a fixed depth. The readme file in the program subdirectory will elaborate on the use of the software.
