Winds 7 knots from southeast. Waves 1.5 ft. LEO Surface Currents 15 cm/s
to northeast (surface intensified). LEO temperatures high (22C) with very
low salinities (28.2). Alongshore jet moving towards south obsevered in
CODAR data.
Today's Boat Assignments
Arabella - Loading 3 remaining REMUS navigation buoys, replacement profiler
for Node A (scheduled maintenance), and S4 for directional wave spectra.
Deployments scheduled for tomorrow.
Caleta - ADCP/CTD survey of alongshore jet, repeat transects of central
A-line and a northern cross-shelf line.
Northstar 4 - Bio-optical Surveys, 3 cross-shelf lines (central A-line,
north and south)
Zodiac - REMUS Operations
Northstar 6- Preparing for Webb Research Corp deployments tomorrow
