ATMOSPHERE -- Today was extremely windy, with speeds constant at about 22 knots from the southwest. Temperatures were very constant with a low of 68 and a high of 72 F. The humidity did begin to increase tonight, and we are expecting some sparse rain this evening.

OCEAN -- The surface currents were mostly to the northeast today, which should bring up the cold water that is just below the surface tomorrow or Monday. Though the satellite image may look like an upwelling image with colder water near the coast, the water is 21 C or 70F, which is much warmer than upwelled water (low 60s/upper 50s).
