Some info on the real time data
The names of the images listed below define the date and time of the image. For example, image 990502.0725.n14.gif, is from 99=1999, 05=may, 02=2nd day of May, 0725=7:25 GMT, n14=NOAA 14 satellite. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is four hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time from April to October, and five hours ahead from November to March.
Now you don't have to search through the images to find a clear one !!!! The number to the right of each image indicates the size of the image in kilobytes (K). The bigger the size, the more data there is in the image.
