Welcome to the Rutgers Summer Institute of Ocean Technologies

There is an urgent need to train the next generation of marine scientists as the world's oceans are changing in our lifetimes. Oceanography is in a technical revolution that allow us to be at sea 24:7 365 days a year. Rutgers is at the forefront of developing, deploying, and using these technologies to understand the interactions and feedbacks between the ocean, atmosphere, land, and human activity.
The Rutgers Summer Institute provides a hands-on summer experience for undergraduates to use these technologies as they are deployed throughout the world's oceans. read more >>
