Education: Ph.D., Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

Research Interests:
My research is directed toward understanding the dynamic processes affecting the size, shape and location of beaches and dunes in ocean, estuarine, and tidal inlet environments. These investigations involve assessment of winds, waves and currents and the effect of these processes on coastal sedimentation and landform evolution. Research is also directed toward analysis of natural hazards, land use, and restoration of naturally-functioning environments in developed municipalities.
